The Spanish Dance Society is the worlds largest society for the advancement of Spanish dance in all its forms. It is a non-profit, charitable organisation formed to promote interest in the art of Spanish Dance, pursuing excellence in presentation, execution and instruction. It was founded in 1965, and is now represented in more than a dozen countries on five continents. The syllabus is taught at universities, art schools and private dance schools.
